Bearland House is an impressive 18th century building with an ornamental façade, forecourt, and fine wrought iron railings and gates. The interior boasts a carved wooden staircase and decorated ceilings.

The interior boasts a carved wooden staircase and decorated ceilings. It was purchased by a high county Sheriff in 1764, and the ghost of his daughter is said to appear at the staircase window.
