This tour tells of Richard III’s important 3 day visit to Gloucester in 1483, as part of his Royal Progress and explains the granting of the significant Charter to the city. You will hear how he spent his time here and be shown some of the buildings he would have seen. The walk lasts about 1 hour and is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Successful bookings will be a sent a confirmation email, please take this with you to show to your guide. This can be a printed copy or shown on mobile.
The maximum number for each walk is 5 and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If oversubscribed, names will be kept and placed on a waiting list in case of drop outs. It may sometimes be possible to put on extra walks if guides are available.
