Event Details

This free guided walk visits some of the places of interest connected with the siege of Gloucester which took place during the English Civil War. The siege was arguably Gloucester’s finest hour when the small garrison of parliamentarians held out against the might of the Royal Army led by the King himself. The walk lasts about 1½ hours and is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Successful bookings will be a sent a confirmation email, please take this with you to show to your guide. This can be a printed copy or shown on mobile.

The maximum number for each walk is 5 and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If oversubscribed, names will be kept and placed on a waiting list in case of drop outs. It may sometimes be possible to put on extra walks if guides are available.
