This year for the first time you can watch the Gloucester History Festival from anywhere, broadcast live from the Festival!

To view the livestream of an event you will need to purchase a ‘livestream’ ticket, by clicking the Livestream booking link button on the event page of the event you want to book.

Single Livestream events cost £6 each and can be purchased until 7pm on 22 September .

How do Livestream events work?

Once you have purchased your livestream event ticket, you will receive a confirmation email receipt.

At least 45 minutes before the event is scheduled to begin, you will receive a further email containing the livestream link and access instructions.

Click on the link 5-10 minutes before the event starts and you can then view the livestream of the event exactly as it happens! Events will also be available to view via the same link until 11 pm on Friday 27 September 2024.

  1. If I’m late to the event but it’s still taking place, can I still join?

You can join late to events. You can catch up on what you missed but you will need to wait until 1 hour after the event has finished to view the event recording using the same link.

  1. Can I share the link you’ve sent me with my friends?

Yes – please add the number of additional viewers when purchasing your livestream tickets.

  1. Can I pay to watch every event via livestream?
