A weekend of talks – live at the beautiful Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester.
After the sell-out success of our first Spring Weekend in April the Festival bursts into Spring 2024 with a three day festival featuring the very best in the world of history. With 20 compelling events in our mouthwatering spring programme we can’t wait to be back at the magical Blackfriars Priory.
Speakers joining us next year include Bettany Hughes, Sathnam Sanghera, Dan Jones, Clare Mulley and many more in a wide-ranging new programme. The Gloucester History Festival is spearheaded by Festival President Janina Ramirez and supported by Patrons Michael Wood and David Olusoga.

There is a Box Office onsite but we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
