Heritage Open Days

Gloucester History Festival is proud to partner closely with Gloucester Heritage Open Days.

Gloucester’s events, organised by Gloucester Civic Trust, feature a multitude of tours and events, from the opportunity to see inside buried Roman ruins to viewing the inside one of the best examples of a Tudor Merchant’s house in the country.  The city is among the top venues in the country with its huge range of activities during Heritage Open Days. The free programme of guided walks, talks and heritage venues open to the public all offer a rare chance for people to explore the sites of Gloucester.

For the 31st year in Gloucester, Heritage Open Days will take place from Friday September 12 – Sunday September 14 2025.
