    Become a patron, enjoy the Festival today and be at heart of the Festival’s future.

    Our Patrons were set up  in 2019 to support the development of our Festival and are integral to our success.
    Anyone can become a Patron, and we invite you to join them for a £500 annual donation.

    Patrons will receive:

    Priority Booking: the opportunity to book and pay for your tickets before they go on sale to the public. Dedicated telephone support during the priority booking period.

    Use of the VIP Writers’ Room throughout the Festival to meet and mingle with speakers.

    Invitation to a virtual Autumn Festival programme launch each July including a discussion of Festival highlights as well as the latest developments in history publishing.

    Invitation to an annual Patrons’ gathering at the Autumn Festival hosted by Janina Ramirez.

    Gloucester History Festival is run by registered charity Gloucester History Trust. 

    Ticket income alone does not cover the cost of the festival and we rely on the generous support of individuals, trusts and foundations and companies so that we can offer you an exciting programme of events, improving access to heritage and building pride in everything our city has achieved.
