All Nations Club

This deceptively ordinary-looking building was established and paid for by newly-arrived Jamaican people from the Windrush generation to provide a much-needed place for them to come together as a community.

A brief Backstory

It has been a cornerstone for BAME communities in Gloucester over the last half-century – a place for celebrations, marking important occasions, promoting fellowship and showing solidarity. One of many positive and powerful aspects of the All Nations story is how the community has worked together in recent times to restore its reputation and legacy. The All Nations Community Centre has a long history to be proud of and deserves its place alongside other historic venues in the city.
